Nevis Range Mountain Experience.

Nevis Range is situated at Aonach Mor, which is the eighth largest mountain in Scotland at 1221 meters high. It is best described as the next door but one neighbour to Ben Nevis and is part of the volcanic complex of Ben Nevis. This includes Aonach Beag and Carn Mor Dearg, with the latter linked to Ben Nevis by an impressive arete.

Nevis Range Mountain Experience is located 7 miles north of Fort William. The base is situated at Leanachan Forest where you will find the adequate parking, The Pine Marten Cafe and Gondola Base station. Here you can take the Gondola 650 metres up Aonach Mor, where you can enjoy a snack or meal in the Snow Goose restaurant while enjoying the stunning views of the Great Glen, hills and lochs of Lochaber. In the winter you’ll find activities such as skiing, sledging and boarding. Or year round you can enjoy the fantastic mountain bike trails in the Leanachan Forest or practice your bunny hops in the skills park.

Nevis Range also has a world renowned downhill MTB track that plays host to the Mountain Bike World Cup each year in June. If that’s not enough excitement for you then there’s also the Top Chief black graded Enduro trail to get your adrenaline racing. Or you can test your nerves on the Tree Adventure Course.
